We are at the internet again this morning for several reasons: 1. to hear from home 2. we begged off from the museum not because of museum burnout but from foot weariness 3. it costs 50cents an hour and 4. it's too early to drink beer which costs 25 cents for a very large stubbie. So thanks for your emails. Yesterday was big. We walked to the inner city wall which dates from the Ming dynasty and cycled 13.7 kms around it, then meandered home via shops and gardens. Having been to China a couple of times before means that most of the cheaper souvenirs aren't new and the beautiful expensive ones are out of reach. Pam is the only shopper so far. We also climbed 100s of steps…
