Racing returns to Mount Coot-tha

The proud history of Brisbane motorsport will come alive on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 May with a race of classic cars and motorcycles up Brisbane’s iconic Mount Coot-tha.
The Cootha Classic will see over 200 priceless historic cars and motorcycles both on display and competing in timed sprints, and showcase over 80 years of automotive racing technology – think 1962 Centaur GT, 1971 Ferrari GTC4, 1968 Ford Mustang, 1935 Ford V8 Special, 1921 Amilcar,1962 Norton Manx.
Event organiser Bill Westerman said the event enabled the unique opportunity to make motorsport accessible to the people and urged car enthusiasts to attend the event and get up close to the drivers and riders.
